Last updated: June 1, 2026

You can request deletion of your Zoogo account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains the ways to do that and what happens when you do.

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete everything is from your account settings:

  1. Sign in to Zoogo and open Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select "Delete account".
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
  4. Your account and associated data are permanently removed.

Option 2: Email us

Send a deletion request from your account email address to privacy@zoogo.pet with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and delete your data within 30 days.

Signed in with Facebook?

If you created your Zoogo account using Facebook Login, you can trigger deletion directly from Facebook:

  1. Open Facebook โ†’ Settings & Privacy โ†’ Settings โ†’ Apps and Websites.
  2. Select Zoogo and choose "Remove".
  3. Facebook notifies us and we delete the account and data linked to your Facebook login automatically.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted we permanently remove:

  • Your profile and login information (including linked social accounts)
  • Your pets, their profiles, health, travel and care records
  • Your posts, comments, messages and community activity
  • Your QR tag links and scan history
  • Your notification and communication preferences

Content you shared publicly may persist in othersโ€™ copies (e.g. a screenshot), and anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you may be retained.

Timeline & legal retention

We complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request. Some records may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, tax, or resolving disputes; these are deleted once no longer needed.
